About Us

My name is Alan and I started R&W Speed Shop (now GoodSpeed USA) about 10 years ago when I was building a 1936 Ford bobber-style pickup truck. Some parts were hard to find so I began searching the web, swap meets, and any other place I could to find the right parts. As I found parts for myself, I saw lots of other parts that other people could use on their projects. I began buying and selling used hot rod and muscle car parts.

I have always been a Ford guy. My dad worked in the parts department at a Ford dealership in St. Louis for 30 years. We worked on our own cars. I remember trips to the junkyard and the local drag races while I was growing up.

I am currently working on a 1929 Ford Tudor on a 1932 frame. After that car is complete, I have a 1966 Mustang GT waiting.

We attended the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November 2015. Afterward, we began carrying new interior & exterior car parts and products as well as continuing to buy and sell original and NOS parts from the 1930s to the 1960s before fully transitioning to reproduction parts only. 

GoodSpeed USA currently operates out of a warehouse located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

As part of our continued expansion, we now have a small showroom and counter where customers can come in and view and purchase our products.
